If you dropped your mail ballot off on Election Day, it's still being processed. Board of Supervisors Chair Kate Brophy McGee said Wednesday the recorder's office is verifying signatures on early ballots dropped off, while the board's elections staff tabulates votes. She called mail ballots returned on Election Day "the big unknown" and gave no firm date for finishing the count. She also called Tuesday's voting "absolutely flawless."

Separately, supervisors unanimously approved an e-bike ordinance Wednesday for of the county. Officials said it's meant to improve safety amid an increase in e-bike accidents, and the classes mirror Arizona law.
