Here's your local news at a glance for Saturday, the 19th of April.
Good morning, Glendale.

📰 Economy
Aligned Data Centers broke ground on a new Glendale data center PHX-13 on Tuesday — the first of four planned facilities on a 100-acre site.
A 230 kV transmission line from Arizona Public Service will support the 72-megawatt facility’s energy needs — city officials say the project is set to boost the local economy while addressing sustainability concerns.
🏛️ Government
Maricopa County Board of Supervisors Chairman Thomas Galvin said in a Tuesday letter that the DOJ should end its oversight of the Phoenix Police Department because he believes the report was driven by politics.

Firefighters from across central Arizona held the annual Central Arizona Wildland Response Team training at Lake Pleasant on March 26 to prepare for a tough wildfire season.
