- ➤ A new $22 million Child Development Center will be built at Luke AFB to ease child care challenges for military families in Glendale. - ➤ The Palo Verde Fiesta Sports Foundation Wishes for Teachers initiative donated $1.5 million to 540 Arizona teachers, including several Glendale educators, with $2,500 classroom wishes each.
