- ➤ Dino's Git-Down returns to State Farm Stadium in Glendale next Friday (9 a.m. to 7 p.m.) and Saturday (9 a.m. to 3 p.m.) with over 8,000 GM vehicles on display; Friday features Chevy trucks while Saturday shows all GM vehicles with free admission and parking available. The event will include booths, food, live music and a raffle to bring families and car lovers together. Glendale Independent
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Glendale earned a AAA bond rating on its excise tax debt from S&P Global Ratings today—city officials said strong fiscal management and a growing tax base helped achieve this milestone. Mayor Jerry P. Weiers said the improved rating will let the city borrow at lower interest rates for future investments. The Glendale Star

- ➤ After a win against Dallas on Monday, Cardinals quarterback Jacoby Brissett had a rough game on Sunday as the Seahawks' defense forced him into mistakes that led to two turnovers returned for touchdowns. The 44-22 loss dropped the team to a 3-6 record and raised concerns about the season. Glendale Independent
- ➤ Kaylee Woodruff, a senior swimmer from O’Connor, raced at the Division I championships in Mesa on Nov. 8 and won a medal by finishing third in the 50 freestyle while coming eighth in the 100 butterfly because her lane made the race tougher (she noted that water from the middle lanes caused extra splash) during her final state meet.
