- ➤ The Arizona State Board of Education released school letter grades for the 2024–25 school year. Peoria Unified School District, which covers 44 schools including some in Glendale, received an overall grade of B; all high schools earned an A except Raymond S. Kellis, which earned a B. Glendale Independent
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ The FDA recalled two types of California-grown peaches from Moonlight Companies sold at Trader Joe’s and Kroger stores, including in Arizona, for potential listeria contamination. The peaches were sold from Sept. 16 to Oct. 29 and consumers should check for PLU stickers 4401 and 4044—fruit marked Washington or Organic is not affected. CW7 Arizona
