- ➤ Eleven Peoria Unified schools will host Love Our Schools Day today to invite volunteers to clean, plant, and paint campus areas and boost school pride—Glendale sites like Desert Valley, Marshall Ranch, and Pioneer Elementary will join in the effort. - ➤ Maricopa County Department of Public Health will host the free Spooktacular Fall Festival at ASU West in Glendale today from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.—offering crafts, games, trick-or-treating and resources from 73 community groups to serve families. Glendale Independent

- ➤ Arrowhead Towne Center in Glendale is starting its free Sunday Sweat Series at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Oct 26—participants must arrive by 9:30 a.m. at the outdoor amphitheater near AMC Theatres and Dick’s Sporting Goods with their workout mats and water. Foundry Arrowhead Ranch will lead the first class, and Barre3 North Peoria will lead the workouts on Nov 2 and Nov 9—live DJ entertainment, raffle prizes, and mystery gifts add extra fun to the event. - ➤ Jahvon Clemens returned to Cactus this summer and David Rojas rejoined Peoria early 2024 after missing most of their junior seasons+ both receivers said they feel at home with their teams.
