- ➤ Glendale City Council on Sept. 24 chose Chad Heywood as a City Judge in Glendale City Court — he will start on Oct. 16 — and he brings years of legal experience as a hearing officer and Judge Pro Tempore. Glendale Independent
- ➤ Residents from Arrowhead Ranch attended a bond meeting at Foothills Recreation and Aquatic Center on Sept. 30 to learn about Glendale’s two-question, $65 million bond proposal. If approved by voters Nov. 4, question one will provide $30 million for flood control and water retention while question two will request $35 million to upgrade city operations—projects that will not directly affect the northern neighborhoods.
