- ➤ Ice Cube will perform in Glendale at Desert Diamond Arena on Sept. 30 as part of his Truth to Power tour; tickets start at $51.95, doors open at 7 p.m. and the show begins at 8 p.m.—this headlining tour marks his first major U.S. tour in over a decade and celebrates his 40-year career. - ➤ Arizona’s largest teacher support program is in its 10th year and will award 540 teachers with a $2,500 grant each from a record $1.5 million fund, with 95 Glendale educators having benefited since 2016 — applications close at 10 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30 for eligible applicants to share their classroom wishes.
