- ➤ Multi-platinum artist mgk announced his Lost Americana Tour to support his seventh album, which will kick off with a 15-date North American arena leg starting on Nov. 18 at Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale. Tickets went on presale on Sept. 22 with general sales set to begin at noon on Sept. 25—Citi card members have access to an extended presale until 10 p.m. on Sept. 24. Glendale Independent

- ➤ On Sept. 9, the Glendale City Council voted unanimously to repeal three ordinances that criminalized panhandling after a lawsuit was filed by local residents—council member Michael Bailey said the council will remove the challenged language while other safety laws remain in force. - ➤ Over 85,000 packages of raw and cooked shrimp have been recalled due to potential Cs-137 contamination—products sold at Kroger stores in Arizona and 30 other states between June 12 and Sept. 17—and customers in Glendale are advised to return any found for a full refund. CW7 Arizona

- ➤ Chicago-based Cushman and Wakefield arranged the sale of Ascension at Manistee Ranch in Glendale on Sept. 22 for $23.45 million — the 71 unit build to rent townhome community with a pool and dog park was sold by Kinella Capital to NextWave Investors as it neared stabilization. - ➤ Arizona's offense is struggling to close games after a 35-yard field goal gave San Francisco a 16-15 win, and the team lost star running back James Conner for the season with a foot injury. The Cardinals are 2-1 and will host the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday night as coach Jonathan Gannon works to improve their closing plays — with more carries expected for Trey Benson and Emari Demercado.
