- ➤ U.S. Marshals are searching for Horace Gyles III, a 38-year-old suspect wanted for a fatal shooting near Glendale's 67th avenues in August 2021 — he was last seen in Illinois in 2023 and is considered armed and dangerous — and offer a $3,000 reward for tips leading to his arrest. - ➤ Glendale will welcome representatives from its sister city Memmingen, Germany at the Kick Off to Oktoberfest party on Friday, Sept. 19 at the Civic Center—where a 22-piece Bavarian Brass Band will perform authentic music for local celebrations.
