- ➤ Glendale resident Stacy Damitio has started a Change.org petition to stop the relocation of about 100 peafowl now living around Sahuaro Ranch Park and the Glendale Main Library. The city council announced the plan during an Aug 12 workshop and the petition, with 2,943 signatures as of Sept. 4, is not on the agenda for the Sept. 9 or Sept. 23 meetings – the issue remains under review.
