On August 31, Christin Day urged Arizona businesses to keep Narcan in break rooms and first aid kits so employees could quickly help anyone showing signs of an opioid overdose—stressing that the nasal spray, available over the counter, can restore breathing in emergencies.
She also helped train community groups on how to use Narcan to give individuals a second chance at life.
