- ➤ Glendale City Council received a proposal to regulate e-bikes and e-scooters after Deputy City Manager Rick St. John warned that children risk injury when riding vehicles that can go as fast as motorcycles—calls from Vice Mayor Lauren Tolmachoff’s constituents and Councilmember Lupe Conchas’ observations add to safety concerns. The proposal recommends a minimum age of 16, bans on riding on sidewalks, speed limits, and obeying all traffic laws while considering measures similar to those in Orange, California.
