GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Glendale City Council will consider three annexation proposals on Tuesday, Aug. 26 at the Civic Center—one for industrial development at Reems Road and Myrtle Avenue, one for a 39-acre mining project, and one for a public hearing on a half-acre annexation that clears the way for a 75-unit multi-family development. The council will begin the industrial proposal workshop at 12:30 p.m., vote on the mining proposal at 5:30 p.m., and then hold the public hearing. Glendale Independent
