- ➤ Ricemill will open its second location at Arrowhead Towne Center in Glendale on Aug. 23 with a grand opening event featuring a lion dance—ribbon-cutting ceremony and deals such as free bowls for the first 50 guests on Saturday, a free drink with a bowl on Sunday, and a $7 Seoul garlic chicken bowl on Monday. - ➤ Glendale-based AVANA Companies is expanding into India after receiving a Non-Banking Financial Company license from the Reserve Bank of India — the firm opened a Pune office and will begin lending to micro, small, and medium enterprises within the next six months.
