- ➤ A driver was rescued from a pond after a two-car collision at 59th Avenue and Behrend Drive in Glendale when a red sedan struck a turning vehicle, and bystanders jumped into the water to remove the seatbelt and bring the driver to safety—both drivers were taken to the hospital and are not seriously injured.
