ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A driver was rescued from a pond after a two-car collision at 59th Avenue and Behrend Drive in Glendale when a red sedan struck a turning vehicle, and bystanders jumped into the water to remove the seatbelt and bring the driver to safety—both drivers were taken to the hospital and are not seriously injured. - ➤ Desert Diamond Arena has been renovated with a $42M makeover to become a dedicated concert and entertainment venue that will host events like WWE shows, concerts and bull riding—Glendale officials say the design now offers easier access and new luxury suites for better fan experience—boosting the local scene. - ➤ A Maricopa County Superior Court judge ruled that Arizona’s system to fund public schools was unconstitutional and needed reform—Judge Dewain Fox said many schools did not have enough money for repairs or proper safety measures.
