A $50,000 grant from Salt River Project will fund container housing on church grounds in Glendale to offer emergency shelter and social services to families in need.

The grant supports Family Promise’s Legacy Village initiative + it will be spread over two fiscal years as part of a $4.2 million campaign to expand help for homeless families.

Glendale entrepreneur Mike DiFabbio’s company Encore Landscape Management was named one of only 26 best places to work in the nation—voted by employees in a survey featured in the June edition of Lawn & Landscape magazine.
