  • Post Malone’s Big Ass Stadium Tour will play at State Farm Stadium in Glendale on June 21 with tickets starting at $60—concert doors open at 5:30 p.m. and fans will see Wyatt Flores and Chandler Walters as opening acts while following a cashless, clear bag policy.  The Arizona Republic

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • The Glendale Council approved the Fiscal Year 2026 budget set at $1.46 billion during its June 10 meeting - a 1% decrease from last year - with an operating budget of $710 million, a capital improvement budget of $478 million, a debt service budget of $115 million, and a contingency appropriation of $157 million. The budget aligns with the city's strategic plan and will support public services, safety measures, and key infrastructure projects over the next decade.  The Glendale Star

  • Every year around the Fourth of July, Valley pet shelters get many calls as fireworks from June 24 to July 6 scare pets, causing them to flee and sometimes become lost.
