- ➤ Rainbow Ryders—Glendale's hot air balloon company—will reveal a custom banner during a special sunrise flight on Saturday, June 21. - ➤ Glendale-based West-MEC is looking to fill open spots in high-opportunity career programs for the 2025-26 school year at campuses across the West Valley—courses include Coding, Precision Machining, Advanced Manufacturing, IT Security, and Law & Public Safety. The district serves over 45,000 students from 49 high schools across 3,800 square miles and will offer hands-on training in industries with a high demand for skilled workers. Glendale Independent
