- ➤ Glendale man Brandon Andres Bautista Torres was sentenced to life in prison on June 4 for the 2019 murders of his girlfriend Selina Toyos and her daughter Aleena Bermudez—he had attempted to conceal the crime by cleaning up the scene and has a history of domestic abuse. The Glendale Star
