AAA Arizona reported gas prices fell 15 cents per gallon to an average of $4.57 on Friday, marking the second straight week of lower prices.

The drop is a 35-cent decrease from a month ago and comes as drivers prepare for summer road trips amid lingering uncertainty over the Strait of Hormuz.

Investigations continue at Mountain Ridge High School as Deer Valley Unified School District and the U.S. Department of Education probe allegations of abuse and civil rights violations affecting special education students (two employees will not return next year).

APS CEO Ted Geisler defended a 14% rate increase designed to update outdated costs from 2021 and 2022, which would add about $20 to monthly bills.
