- ➤ The Glendale City Council approved rezoning of a 39-acre site just across I-10 from State Farm Stadium on Tuesday for the Envision Encore project—proposing high-density multifamily housing, commercial spaces and potentially hotels. The city has not yet selected a developer while the property owner is Porter Fields LLC from Yuma. ABC 15
- ➤ Glendale voters will decide on rezoning a 10-acre site on 95th Ave so VAI Resort can build corporate offices and a parking structure, with propositions 401 and 402 on the ballot. City officials say the plan is expected to add $2 million in new tax revenue and create many new jobs + some local residents worry the area’s other needs might be overlooked. AZ Family
