- ➤ Willmeng Construction raised over $300,000 at its Builders Cup golf tournament to support Treasure House—a Glendale facility serving adults with developmental disabilities. The fundraiser, now in its second year, outpaced last year's $260,000 and will help cover residents' monthly fees of $3,800. Glendale Independent

- ➤ Glendale's Arts and Culture Division is accepting applications for its Performing Arts Grant Program that offers local artists, schools, colleges, and groups up to $4,000 for projects in theatre, dance, music, and performance. Applications are open until Saturday, May 31 and will be reviewed for projects scheduled from Sept. 1 to Aug. 30 — continuing support for more than 70 groups since 2021. Glendale Independent
