- ➤ Artist Yvonne Wan, creator of Focus Comics which features one of the world’s first autistic heroes, will host a free art program for children of heroes—first responders, military, autistic and special needs youth ages 6–21—from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 26 at Glendale Main Library. - ➤ Cornerstone Healing Center opened two supportive housing facilities in Glendale in late February to support patients in its intensive outpatient program. The new facilities—which include a women’s house with nine beds and a men’s house with 12—offer stable, free housing to remove barriers to recovery. Glendale Independent
- ➤ After triple-digit temperatures last week, Circle the City's street medicine teams provided water and IV supplies to homeless people in areas including Glendale — where many faced dehydration.
