- ➤ Glendale’s Community Services Department will host its 11th Annual Family Resource Fair on April 12 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Glendale Elementary School District System of Care Center—residents can get free resources for housing, healthcare, workforce development and legal assistance, along with free haircuts for children ages 5-17, lunch, resume help and a blood drive offered by local partners. - ➤ Arizona Gives Day 2025, held today, has raised a preliminary total of $4.1 million from over 19,700 donations by nearly 750 nonprofits—final figures will be tallied later this month—and organizers say that although this total is lower than the over $5.3 million raised in both 2023 and 2024, the event’s decade-long sum now reaches $51 million.
