- ➤ Peoria Unified School District's robotics team, the Cobra Commanders, based at Cactus High School in Glendale, have qualified to compete at the World Championships in Houston this April — the team of 28 students built a 120-pound robot and earned several awards during the season. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Maricopa County will give $4.3 million in opioid settlement funds to 17 groups — 3 already got funds and 14 are new — to help individuals and families battling substance abuse. Contracts will be awarded starting April 1 to support treatment, prevention and harm reduction programs under the county's strategic plan. KTAR
