- ➤ Glendale readers can look forward to the 2025 Phoenix Film Festival starting Thursday in Phoenix at Harkins Scottsdale 101 theaters at 7000 E. Mayo Blvd. where independent films (over 200 selections from 1,300 submissions including local talent) will be shown; the festival will also feature Kids Day on March 30 and a special reunion screening of Platoon with Oliver Stone and cast.
