Essential oils are a plant's secondary metabolites and do all sorts of cool things for both the plant and the human body. In this class, we’ll look beyond the labels and explore the chemistry behind essential oils, how their chemical constituents influence their therapeutic actions, proper dilution and application, common safety concerns, contraindications, and why more is not always better. This class is designed for anyone who wants to use essential oils more safely and understand the science behind aromatherapy.
