Raise Your Voice at Lord of Life’s Handel’s Messiah Sing-Along in Sun City West

About this event

Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Sun City West invites everyone to its annual Handel’s Messiah Sing-Along on Sunday, November 29, 2026, at 3 p.m. Back by popular demand, this special Advent musical event brings together choirs, orchestra, and community members for an afternoon of music and fellowship.

The performance will feature Part I of Handel’s Messiah , the Christmas portion, including beloved selections such as “Comfort Ye My People,” “Every Valley Shall Be Exalted,” “For Unto Us a Child Is Born,” and “He Shall Feed His Flock.” The program will also include the celebrated “Hallelujah Chorus” and “Amen.”

Want to sing along? All are welcome to join choir rehearsals on Wednesdays at 2:15 p.m. in the church sanctuary. Music books will be available, and no advance registration is mentioned. Those who prefer to listen are equally welcome to enjoy the performance.

As the church enters Advent, Handel’s Messiah offers an opportunity to reflect on the promise of Christ’s coming through Scripture and music, sharing the joy of the season in community.

A freewill offering will be collected to help support the event.
