About this event
Join us in celebrating our community’s connection to nature! This fun and free community festival celebrates urban wildlife and nature. Come learn about the Salt River’s diverse ecosystem, volunteer to protect the habitat along the banks, and enjoy family-friendly outdoor activities designed for all ages.
This event is staged along the Salt River, a culturally significant natural resource to the Valley and home to a variety of interesting wildlife. Last year, over 1,000 attendees and 45 local non-profit environmental organizations participated, enjoying live wildlife encounters, art projects, guided walks, food, games, prizes and more!
Join the early birds for a community river clean up from 8 a.m. – 9 a.m.
