About this event
Explore the science of astronomy and how you can get started stargazing at home with Kevin LeGore of Focus Astronomy.
He will explore practical tips for getting started with astronomy at home, from choosing gear to knowing when and where to look. Afterwards, join their team to explore the night sky with professional-grade telescopes. Whether you’re new to stargazing or already know your way around the night sky, there’s something here for you.
The Foothills Speaker Series is a joint project of Desert Foothills Land Trust and the Holland Center. This event is free and open to the public, but registration is required due to limited seating.
