About this event
Join Ranger Derik on a sunset hike through the park as the sun sets and search for scorpions as the stars come out.
The hike will cover 3 miles with minimal elevation gain on easy sandy trail. Hikers should bring a flashlight, water, wear protective clothes and wear sturdy shoes. Hiking poles can be helpful for those with balance difficulties. If you have a blacklight feel free to bring it along but they are not necessary. The trailhead has a bathroom and water available
