About this event
Tap is a percussive style of dance that focuses on intricate footwork and musicality. Dancers will learn to listen to music, count, and understand style and phrasing while they learn the vocabulary of tap steps as well as rhythm and patterns. Beginning levels will build a foundation on basic tap technique and musicality while intermediate levels will work on progressing steps with clarity, and challenging dancers with different timing and styles
