About this event
Join the Phoenix Inclusive Birding Club for a morning of birding at Tres Rios Wetlands ! We’ll explore the wetlands and surrounding habitat, looking for waterfowl, shorebirds, raptors, and other species that use this unique urban wetland area. The walk will be approximately 1.5–1.75 miles , depending on what we’re seeing along the way. The route is flat and primarily consists of hard-packed gravel and concrete surfaces .
Date: November 22 Time: 8:00-9:30 AM
Permit: The trip leader will obtain the required City of Phoenix permit for the entire group , so participants do not need to apply individually.
Restrooms/Water: A porta potty is available on site , though its condition can vary. There is no drinking water available , so please bring enough water for the full outing.
Bring water, sunscreen, and comfortable walking shoes. We’ll bird at a relaxed pace and adjust the route based on activity and sightings. All experience levels are welcome!
